NEWS: Portion of Eggner Ferry Bridge collapses
Jan 26, 2012
The Eggner's Ferry's Bridge was struck by Seattle-based Foss Maritime M/V Delta Mariner, a 312-foot long and 8,000 horsepower cargo ship on Thursday night 1/26/12. As of this posting no one on board or on land were hurt, however a span of the bridge is on the bow of the ship and other debris is in the water.

The Coast Guard has closed Kentucky Lake/The Tennessee River to boat traffic at the site.

See WPSD's photo gallery that show the current condition of the ship and bridge GO HERE.

The cost is $20 per person which includes dinner, drink service and tip. This is a private party for sailors and wannabes! Get your boat warmed up or rent a cottage or condo!   Join us February 4th at the CYC club at Green Turtle Bay.
